Marines and volunteers raise $10K during annual Dana Point event to benefit Marines

    For Jim Surber, who possesses the Capistrano Coastline automobile laundry, holding the Elliott’s as well as supplying a place to the Dana Factor Marine support system is something he was happy to do.

    “You’re speaking about an ultimate sacrifice,” he claimed of Sean Elliott. “People forget exactly what those in the army do, especially if you’re outside the armed force. I deeply appreciate the sacrifice individuals in the military make.People quit their whole lives, literally and figuratively.”

    Surber said he thinks areas in South Area are particularly motivated to sustain the Marines as a result of the location’s closeness to Camp Pendleton and since many armed forces experts stay in South County cities.

    “The car laundry was exceptional in a lot of methods,” stated Terry Rifkin, executive supervisor of the Dana Point Fifth Marine Regiment Support system which hosted the event. “Honoring our gold star household, Cindy and also John Elliott, and spotlighting an American hero was the ideal mission at the correct time. Every one of our volunteers; aquatic and also civilian offered their best to do their work with a smile and also make the day a wonderful success.”
