Supervisors approve permanent rent control in unincorporated L.A. County

The Los Angeles Region Board of Supervisors elected to restore rental cost control completely in unincorporated components of the county Tuesday, Sept. 10, covering rental charge increases on older residences at the price of rising cost of living, around a maximum of 8% annually.

The motion taken on Tuesday uses location group till Nov. 12 to compose the wording for the new regulation, which is expected to protect worrying 100,000 tenants.
